Woodpicker- the tracks are held in place by a idle bearing which is adjusted by a string spring, no grease.

Rosey- no it's Maurice fitch's. I used to work for him for six years. Now I sub for him when he wants someone thatcan operate this bit of kit, like the legend that I am. Haha.

Played a joke on our local firewood seller.

Put a sign on his wood pile saying free firewood, help yourself

(in French of course)

We laid the sign down so it could not be seen unless in the yard and moved some wood around to make it look like he had visitors.

The joke was not appreciated and he is convinced tonnes of wood has disappeared!

We now have one angry Frenchman on our hands...

Brand new chain hit a nail. Bit boring.

Every time I fit a new chain I also find a nail - or it feels like it.

Recently fitted a new blade to a 10 yr old Silky - yep hit a nail, will try and resharpen it with a small oil stone.

Today, countless hangups.

Last month: reversed my car into a digger with bucket up (getting washed) and smashed my back window and boot door right up. Picked one up from the scrappie and fitted that all good though.

Nothing else bad has happened actually, which is better than I thought!
