But a virgin giving birth and a bloke dying and then turning up again are perfectly believable.

.

It actually a mistranslation, it should read "madden" (unmarried) not virgin, I'm sure most will agree that unmarried mothers are some what more come than virgin mothers.

Very very sad.

Christianity actually teaches monogamy and sex within marriage only. If these principles were actually practised AIDS wouldn't be spreading!

quite right, i guess the teaching isn't good enough.

if only the pope would allow contraception.

very very sad.

So the punishment for promiscuity should be death from AIDS???

That great, especially for the innocent children that are orphaned:thumbdown:

So contraception is more of a sin than bringing unwanted children into the world and the spread of horrendous decease????

This is a god of love?????????:confused1:

Is Amanita muscaria found in the Holy Land or Middle East? I gather it is found in many parts of the world, but not there.

It is, the Fly Agaric associates with pine trees in the Middle East and the brown Royal Fly Agaric (Amanita regalis), that contains just as much muscimol as Amanita muscaria and was used as a substitute, is also present.

Some decades ago, it turned out that the Vatican had quite a capital stock of Durex shares and was a big shareholder in the tobacco or sigaret and weapon industry too.

When it comes to hypocrisy Christianity really does excel.

I believe god, the bible and the fear of god, was the way of keeping the population in check and was invented by the Einstein of the time

We should do away with religion now as it obviously doesn't work, most of the worlds wars are religion based.

Humans are the most destructive, evil and selfish species on the planet and deserve to be eradicated by their own sword, which is what will happen eventually

If we don't eradicate the human race through war, it will be through famine

On a brighter note, not bad weather this aft

Remarkable theory.

I have always believed there are truths between the lines and the literal interpretations are not intended.

Mycorrhizal connectivity is living proof that all life on earth is , or at least was, interconnected.

Perhaps the loss and degradation of mycorrhizal communities due to increasingly intensive land use has a direct link to the worlds populations gradually losing their religion, or spiritual consciousness.

Perhaps the world wide web will eventually re awaken that, through education and by hyphal connection.
