Does anyone burn their fingers with throwline? I keep on doing it despite trying my hardest to not let the line run through them. Wondering about upgrading to a catapult!

Gloves Pete! :001_rolleyes: They do have their uses you know! :001_tt2: I always set one off without, then don't forget to put them on for the rest of the week... :blushing::001_tongue:

That's just what I do - chuck the throwline, burn my fingers then put gloves on  Stoopid! Funny thing is, mate of mine (an experience arb) hadn't used a throwline at all before. He kept his gloves on, chucked the line but didn't release properly and burnt straight through the the glove and got a burn on his finger :laugh1:

I use that horrible nylon 3 strand type stuff... I heard they use bare handed throwlining as a method of extracting information at 'Gitmo.... :001_huh::laugh1:

Ok, that was slight fabrication of the truth.

But this is fact -

The British Army are currently carrying out a plausibility study into wether or not the Big Shot can be used to fire grenades over long distances.

So far the tests have revealed the furthest a grenade shot from a Big Shot was a distance of 16500 miles before exploded in mid air 15 miles outside the Earth's atmosphere.

I think you may need to talk to Hama about fungus ID :001_rolleyes:
