Being nice to joe public allways pays off as they may be your next customers. But it 1 way to get the tpo officer out to look at a job just down the road when his there.

Well you are quite right it can get tedious dealing with the public, and in the past I have told them all sorts from bail hostel to asylum seekers home but the one thing I have learned is that these dog walker types tend to be middle class home owners with a good bit of disposable income, gardens and more importantly………………… trees.

 

These days rather than taking the pee I try to send them away with a smile and a business card, it has brought a good number of decent jobs and more often than not you aren’t pricing against the hoards. Time well invested.

Just saw that should have said 13.30. Chris turned up. Not Sure why i didn't put the .30 in. Guess I can't type nothing on this stupid iPad, damn technology plus I must be getting old.

 

Nd yes less than half hour for lunch, due to rain at 3 so we wanted to get on with it and get away before the rain, not that it happend. Got soaked.

totally agree ! but you really dont know who you are talking too its very easy too get too involved smile be polite and you will get by far better than getting involved :thumbup: tea brakes are for having a laugh !

Or sometimes, that we're just practicing on this tree. Point to a small tree somewhere nearby, "That's the tree we're going to work on."

 

Occasionally tell them that there's an old lady up the road with no heating in need of firewood.
