I take it you mean Center Parcs?? I don't know about the log prices but it's a good time of year to go... we went to the one in the lakes a couple of years ago in Jan, minus 5 outside, 30 degrees in the dome.

 

Running from the indoor pool to the outdoor pool was "invigorating" though. I was so invigorated that I thought they'd disappeared, if you get my drift...

 

During school holidays it's a no-no though. Nearly a grand for four nights

Thats disgusting... I'm all for the idea that someone has to be the most expensive and it may as well be you... But 10 quid for 3 logs is borderline robbery.

To be fair, each 'log' burns for a couple of hours and gives out a decent heat.

 

I've never had the management on at me for taking my own, just be discreet.

 

They are more concerned about empty bottles in the hot tub....

I think if you carry on down the road as you approach centre parks you will find the longleat forestry place on the right. I had a chat with them and there prices they virtually give the stuff away. They weigh the cars out and it was about £70 a tonne. I went to cp about 7 years ago and the chimneys then could not stand the heat of proper logs thats why its the in house bricks. Watch you dont burn it down.
