hi chaps i know lots of tree surgeons,landscapers,etc have used and still do the ldv convoy tipper,well mine is playing up?

starts fine and revs up as normal,but when you drive seems to be holding back [losing power] ?????????????????????

 

any thoughts guys,any help will be very grateful.......:thumbup:

Could be the fuel filter partialy blocked,if it has just been in the cold snap,I would look for water/ice in the fuel system to start with after a filter change.

Hi are the brakes binding. Take it for a drive go steady on the brakes pull over and feel centre of wheels. They should all be around the same temperature. Have the filters been changed as per schedule. Possible clutch slip injectors, pump or de-coke required. Try adding redex to your fuel may help Try the simple and cheapest options first:001_smile:

Yup try the fuel filter, mostlikely slight water content then freezing causing the problems.

 

Love ldv's :D Shame i'm selling mine, don't want to though as its a cracking machine!
