To be honest I don't know about the UK mate.Birch is all people want to buy here in Norway.

 

Why don't you market it as "Odin ved" meaning the god of thunders wood

 

or "Thor ved","Smelterved" Furnace wood.Dress the name up a little.

Heard a few people say birch rots quickly we cut and split 18 tonne for next year i presume it will be ok for that long. Its been split 2 months and iv burnt abit at home it burns realy nice and hot.

Was told by a customer last year the QUEEN askes for birch wood at Highgrove??because it dosn't spit at all. Anyone know if theres any truth in this if so could we sell Birch fire wood by royal appointment then what would it sell for???????????????????????
