I reckon so too Mick but (Eggs) what was it doing there - normally hiding from something (weather or predator) / recovering from trauma (hitting a window or being hit by a car) or distracting you (from young or a nest) - any of the above ?

No idea why it was there. We do have a local tom cat but I didn't see him about, there is a Sparrow Hawk about but again I haven't seen that today either. The Dunnock (Mick's call), was sat there for about 15-20 minutes while I was sorting out the back of the van. It flew off so I don't think it was injured. Your guess is as good as mine. The weather was dry/mild, I'm not aware of a nest.
