Ian, I always enjoy your videos and these two were no exception but I don't feel either showed any benefits of the rope wrench. In fact you may aswell have been using a prussik once you had accessed the tree. You know what I mean??

Ian, apologies if this has already been asked over on the other thread (getting a bit lost in it all to be honest) but it looked like you had a lockjack set up with the RW. How do you find working that system as opposed to just a normal hitch? I'm loving the improvised "hammer" for knocking the wedges in too.

Gonna have to sell that SJ and buy an LJ Adam. Problem is I like the SJ heaps which is why I want to know how the LJ works with the system. Wondering if it could be the best of both worlds.

As ian said on the "best thread ever" he's going to try to get some limb walk footage at the rec climb next week.

Ian, I have a prime spot for it, big long limb, nice drop through redirect from above then out and up. I'll film you to get another perspective than the helmet cam:thumbup:

I have to agree with frank , great vids and nice work and please don't take this the wrong way but Its not selling rhe wrench to me,I really want to see the wrench on some limb walks, a working vid of a reduction would be really cool.

Not sure how those vids serve to illustrate the benefits of using a rope wrench. Ascent method looks hard work and inefficient. Is it rope wrench you are using for progress capture in combination with petzl hand ascender?
