You can check your own kit but the HSE says

 

The risks in arboriculture which arise through failure in lifting equipment for lifting people justify independent and impartial thorough examination. In practice this probably means somebody external to your business.

 

But thtts a long way short of MUST be independant

Anyone know where i can do the course near to York area really, to be able to the loler checks, also anyone know how, if yourself is a loler tester/inspector, what happens with your own kit. Oh any idea of pricing
