That's cool, he must have some good memories of the big Elms.

 

I used to work 1968/1970 with the Brighton Parks tree gang and helped to start the protection of the Brighton Elms from DED. Great memories!!!!

 

Now these trees are recognised worldwide as a living museum of elms.

 

I was then on the 1st one year Arb course at Merrist Wood,(1970-71) where Peter was the Course Director. Again brilliant memories. This was before he wrote the book and Le Suer was then a 'bible' of arb practice!!!!!
