Having been a Consultant and an expert witness Peter is now happily retired

I used to work 1968/1970 with the Brighton Parks tree gang and helped to start the protection of the Brighton Elms from DED. Great memories!!!!

 

Now these trees are recognised worldwide as a living museum of elms.

 

I was then on the 1st one year Arb course at Merrist Wood,(1970-71) where Peter was the Course Director. Again brilliant memories. This was before he wrote the book and Le Suer was then a 'bible' of arb practice!!!!!

We have a signed copy of Peter Bridgemans book, as a kid growing up I read it (looked at the pictures) endlessly.

 

Has there ever really been a replacement I wonder?

Still got them both on the book shelf sitting along side Mattheck's guide to VTA etc!
