Defender 90?

Does anyone use one as their sole vehicle? I know most people use a Hi Cap on here for chipping into? Does anyone chip into a trailer?

I run a 90 for work, admittedly more forestry than arb but we have had the trailer behind it to chip into on a couple of arb jobs. A hicap would be a better bet but I know the 90 is a good one so am loath to take a risk on swapping. I use a widetrack sankey trailer behind it when I need to get into the woods and it goes anywhere the 90 will so far and carries similar capacity to what a hi cap would.

Yes, but dont use a 90 to tow it with.

I do , too early days yet for a proper review but initial impression is good. Defender is for work though , wouldnt have it as a recreational /road vehicle.

Iv also got mine upto what id call decent spec and most of the Hi Caps look pretty ropey-iv just had a quarter chassis from MIB fitted as well as +2inch Terrafirmas all round so im leaning more towards keeping her.

Yes , the tipper. I originally went down to the dealers for the 10' one but it i felt it was too big. I feel I'm a slicker outfit with the 8' and get all the gear in the back of the landy albeit i need to outfit it a bit more but I'll get there

I run a 90 as second truck tow a ifor 8x5 tipper with double sides lovely to tow in traffic as not wider than truck. Chip in to it if on big jobs or load it with cordwood as it carries more than the130.
