Spikes question

Ive been looking at either buying a new set of spikes and selling my current ones which are alloy bashlins, I was thinking of going over to aluminium distels or carbon fibres, whilst checking prices I saw the bashlin Velcro pads, would these be the better option, also they are a lot cheaper.

I've tried the carbon spikes and found them very comfy, although I am yet to have a go of a set of Velcro straps. Any reviews?

I've got the carbons with the velcro top pads. I get on just fine with them as I don't usually have the top pads that tight anyway. The bottom leather straps are a bit of a pain in the harris but only because I have to haul on them to get from the hole that just that bit too loose to the hole that's just right. I actually think the velcro pads are more comfy than my old leather ones. Like spiking in slippers too.

Totally agree!!!

The velcro is far better than the old leather straps, I like the top nice and tight and the bottom one not too tight, I hate the feeling of having my foot strapped to tightly.

I do prefer the Velcro ability, I hate doing the straps on my legs, to get them comfy they have to be tight.

I'm very tempted for either of the geckos.

How much would a pair of ali bashlins in good condition be worth?

:sneaky2:

Put them on Arbtrader and find out :001_smile:
