Try a company called LRMS

But note there is a big difference in insurance terms between a working dog and taking a dog to work.

Company above tailor insurance to the dog as much as they can. Including things like employers liability and public liability you need to speak to a specialist co, not a "pet" co

I agree with Lee, place for dogs in at home in kennels, not running loose around the clients property. A mate of mine takes his dog on site most days, and IMO it's an accident waiting to happen, it distracts others while they are doing their job, it disappears for a dump in the clients gardens, no way should hey be allowed on site. Can you imagine a building site allowing pets to roam about? Ridiculous.

Third party liability cover is not available while any dog is used in connection with any

business, occupation or profession but is available if the dog is used in connection with a

hobby.

Note that the quote you posted states that the dog is not insured if it is used in connection with any business. You would not be using the dog, it would simply be with you, and I would expect normal pet cover to apply.

If the dog was carrying out a commercial function (SAR perhaps, or you ran an establishment for training dog owners and used the dog for training purposes), then I would not expect the cover to apply.

There are specialist insurers who will insure, for example, working dogs, dangerous wild animals, that sort of thing.

Is the work place/a customers garden the right place for a dog in the first place? I want a firm that's eyes and mind a focused on my trees and the job , not a pet, sorry but that's the way I see it!

You really don't like dogs do you lee... my dog lives in my truck if I know some one and they are cool with dogs in there garden , he's allowed out other wise he is more than happy with sitting in the truck all day.... Although today he pulled out the customers cat flap as he is too big to fit now and proceeded to run around there garden with it stuck around his waist whilst being chased by there labradoodle, it did cross my mind for the first time about insurance !!! I did have no intention what so ever right now of insuring him though, he's fit and healthy if he gets ran over then well......., hmmm I think

I might give the insurance go a ring !!
