I've not put anything that big through mine. The chap at Riko thinks I've just been unlucky! Haven't had a definate price yet but looks like £4-500 for a new part, plus delivery. Had a guy from RJ Fukes, a Logset dealer just down the road from us, come and take a look today and they are going to give me a quote to straighten and re-enforce the bed. I've started to take it apart and so long as it can be straightened, it looks like it shouldn't be too difficult to strengthen it.

Did you find a good way to reinforce yours?

I have had the same problem but with a different cause. Just ordered a new table from Riko but would be good to get it strengthened from the off.

I been using a WP36 on hire for a couple of weeks. Mostly with a three different operators and me a bit as well. I've a full day on it tomorrow.

Not an impressive machine really. Slow and underpowered. The clamp for holding the log is not good and the splitter struggles on 25cm spruce on a four way splitter. I'll be very glad when my new processor comes from Trak-met.

Surprised you found it slow or strugling to split but agree the log hold down could do with a bit more thought. Been putting 25cm douglas and larch through the 6 way on ours without a refusal. Sharp full cheisel chain works best if the wood is not too dry. To be fair it is probaly at its best with smaller wood.

Is that a self propelled WP36 or PTO driven?

Thanks
