Transit or Iveco

Hi

 

Im about buy my 1st tipper but cant decide to get either transit or iveco daily

 

Ive bin in transits when there fully loaded and they have got no power and i dont really know much about the iveco. just want to know which one is best for the job. ive got about £8000 to spend.

Depends what engine you get! Most transits only get a 90hp unit, the 140hp is very capable, you can get a 200hp too! Towing Capacity lets A Transit down, Iveco can usually tow 3500...

imo i would go for the iveco ,then again it depends whitch engine you have ,i drive a transit some times when subbing and dont like it as much as my iveco ,then again i do have the 140, there both tried and tested among every one on here so i dont think you would go wrong with either ,the iveco i would say tho

Depends whether you want to get mistaken turning up at a customers' house looking like a gyppo in the transit.

What licence do you have? I see some of those Ivecos are 5.2 and 6.5 gvw(correct me I'm probably wrong) I'd think those would be very handy?

oh dear how very limiting, the worst and the not so worst, no scope for an Isuzu, Canter or Cabstar etc then ??????

personally I don't like the shape or look of either there are better ones out there for that kind of money ,just make sure you get alley bed,ive got a vauxhall movano 3500 suits me

After my experience with both the transit and the iveco, I,m afraid I,d have to go for the iveco, more robust all round.

think i'd go Iveco

But i do like the cabstars as an alternative - nice and narrow (but expensive parts)

I have a 140 transit and it pulls like a train no matter what wait is in it. Good luck I hate buying a new van.
