I went to one of the shows last year with college and was told, in all seriousness by my tutor, that if I wanted to 'look the part' and 'be taken seriously' I should were my chainsaw trousers and boots! :confused1:

I'm not about to try and impress anyone

I find a short skirt and high heels does more to impress.

I remember a while back driving through Cirencester town centre !

Just reminded me that Rupe, I was listening to (dare I say it) Radio 2 this week and they gave out a traffic warning that there were long tail backs on a main road in cirencester because of someone carrying out tree works,.

I suddenly thought of you :001_tongue:

No the long tailbacks were probably due to an severly overloaded chip truck dragging its ar@e up a hill to go and tip.

Oh, sorry I forgot, you don't have "hills" down south do you ??

Just for you southerners, a hill is one of those things where when your driving along in your car, you have to change down a gear to get the car to go up it. :001_tongue:

Whilst were on the subject of sewing up chainsaw trousers.

Just thought it worth pointing out, for the newbies.

Don't sew the outer material to the inner kevlar stuff or they won't work in the event of an accident. As contact with the saw should drag all the inner material towards the point of contact. Sewing the 2 together will potentially stop this from happening.

don't sew them up at all, a bit of copydex does the job and boy is it easier!
