I'm gonna say the stilh 020av. My first climbing saw in the early 90's. Reliable and indestructible , yeah there heavier than the modern equivalent, but I was younger back then lol. Plus no annoying carb issues

Stihl 076 - 3ft bar, full chisel chain felling 3ft dead oak. Swap to 4ft bar and alaskan for milling. No emissions or noise considerations when that was built!

066 with 25" bar and 8 tooth sprocket, makes me smile when ever I use it!!!!!!:thumbup:

 

But when it comes to the saw I could not live without, it would have to be the 020!!!:thumbup1:

HI skyhuck what a saw the 660 on a 25 ins bar used mine this week on a large beech i like to see what it like on 20 ins bar or 16 bar :lol:jon

Husky 365 was the first saw I ever bought brand new and I love them coz of that, still got it and I'm going to rebuild it this year 😃

 

Favourite modern saw is 390xp

 

Favourite older saw has to be Stihl 076. Beast of a saw.

 

242xp is fantastic too tho, tooooooo many to choose from I guess
