I would never wear such pukka outdoor kit to work! Love my mountain kit but never mix it up with work gear!!

 

I'd never go up a mountain if i needed that coat for it, i'd rather stay indoors with a nice cup of tea!

I wear a paramo velez smock, lightweight ,remarkably tough,wicking and very waterproof. A bit expensive and too good to buy and wear a brand new one to work so I scanned e-bay and got myself one for £85. The best piece of work clothing I've ever bought as I was always sweating my nuts off in other jackets and have tried loads. Couldn't recommend it enough guys ( oh! and the company is fairtrade for those of you who care)http://www.paramo.co.uk

Uh, no - that gear is made for mountaineering. Don't consider that work do you?

 

I'll stick with the army gore-tex to get torn up rather than a £200 jacket ta.

I recons the stretch air jacket is pretty good,nice practical cut, bit pricey though, wouldnt mind trying the stihl or husky stretch material coats...before that ive always liked the husky or stihl forrestry jackets for work...still where them in sappy conifers when i dont want to wreck the stretch air!

I hardly wear my stretch air anymore. Lately I'm wearing a thin fleece under a windproof cycle jacket from aldi. When I come out of the tree I put on a thick fleece or rain coat.
