Vegetarian/non-leather boots

Just looked at the details of the arbotec ones but unfortunatly they incoporate patches of 3mm leather

i take that back ! hiax i thought made a gore tex boot but turns out its just a goretex membrane , leather outer.

Not sure wood would stop a saw, if it did you really need to work on your sharpening technique

But they would not allow you to wear them for your assessment.

you can get walking boots which are all gore tex so would keep your feet dry n warm but not safe !

Although, thinking about it there is company near here that take the uppers from old boots and use them as the uppers for clogs, so they would probably be able to do that with chainsaw boots.

 

My father wears nothing but clogs, he broke both his ankles many years ago and was left with flat feet, he finds clogs are the only thing he can wear all day without pain.

Chainsaw protective socks would be the answer, but I don't think they are still available.

So then, who else has ran off to the patent office with a great idea then?

 

In this day and age there is probably some way you could get around not wearing leather chainsaw boots on your assesment ie infringing on your beliefs etc.

I don't mean to sound unsensitive but surely wearing plastic is the same thing?
