crap in Brighton. I was going to go out today and do a private job - hard prune on couple of neglected fruit trees. But it's lashing down with storm force winds. Instead I'm going to get a harness and some other bits for my daughter.

How about you?

Haven't had much in the way of call outs but have seen the tree firm contracted to the council everywhere! Last saw them removing a fallen ash which they have driven 25 mile to get to, same tree aprox half mile from my front door! Aaahhhh!

Pricing up a few,theres a strip about a mile long & a hundred yards wide that has damage on a level or worse than the 'oct 87' storms,lot of big softwoods smashed up,& buildings heavily damaged,either side of the strip things are left untouched.

Most peculiar,I was on the tail end of it at the time,& it was like a wall of hailstones & rain,vision down to tens of yards,only lasted for a minute or so.

Will see if I can get some pics today given time.
