to be fair im not working in gardens, but all the farms we go on no one has ever minded us cooking up. good job too as we work hard for that 45mins of chill out time and hot grub :)

That is a very nice way of looking at it.... i suppose it depends on the job too.

 

Big multi day site clearance = possibly no hassle

Hedge trimming or quick deadwooding sesion = might lead to awkwardness

 

Im going to try and conjure up a simple hobo style stove tomorrow in my garage, that may reduce the impact a little for future cook ups!!

I think working in gardens - not a problem- just do what you feel right- customer probably loves it and dines out on the stories when the tree men came

 

ha ha my bro loves telling the firewood customers about our random cook ups and they seem to love the stories, especially the blokes in smart clothes who've probably got boring office jobs and long to be out with us in the woods eating like real men :)
