Back at work in the spray booth. Just got 300 coasters to spray lacquer both sides. It was too hot during the day and the lacquer was drying too fast before it got a chance to flow properly. Hopefully home before midnight!

Having spent the day recreating the dust storms from the North Africa campaign of WW2 with just the aid of a ride on mower, I was looking forward to a nice cold shower. Couldn't believe it when I saw SWMBO had been showering at the same temperature as she does in midwinter. It's been over 30 Centigrade here today.

I had just the same problem tarting up a wing on the mgb yesterday, all orange peel as the spray flashed off before it could flow.

Looks to be scorching again. Might have to rethink the schedule for a few days. I think it's verging on the point of becoming a safety issue. We're on basal and epicormic growth on highways and it's intense in this heat.

Cool and breezy. Rain earlier but although there are some ominous clouds it is still a nice sunset. However, I am in Helsinki and it is midnight!
