Was raining all day here in Ayrshire, didn't stop me from going out and cut up and split some logs I got from last stump grinding job with my axe.

 

I got in such a state and could not stop, just one more, one more, and so on.

Ended up with 2 full ton bags. Need to build a place to store the logs in now.

Makes a pleasant change, it's been lashing it down for weeks. N Westerly forecast for Saturday, so it should be getting near to 0ºC for a bit.

 

I fancy a bit of a decent frost, so I can get down to the Birch coppice. Too muddy at the moment....sucks.

 

Brother says its brass monkeys in Sweden, but no snow, which is odd, as he's usually under a good couple of meters by now.
