got home a about 2pm today Jon....20 mins later started raining and has not stopped!

Chucking it down. Mind you, could be worse; I could be going out on a sailing barge for the day like the in-laws.

Pouring down. I was supposed to be picking up some timber to make Mrs Egg some more raised veg beds. Fortunately the fella I'm getting the timber off just sent a text cancelling the collection as his yard is like a mud bath. So I'm off to the pub as soon as it opens.

I have gone 6 days without rain, that suits me fine. Total rainfall for 2013 so far 50".

Not the highest rainfall total for any given year, however enough all ready for this year.
