Has anyone changed the plate on a vehicle with a tacho fitted? Do you have to get the tacho changed so that it has the right reg on it or can you do that yourself?

I cant see the problem with spending £300 on a plate for a bit of fun and spreading the cost over 20 years then selling it for a profit. I think its called business. Mine has given lots of people a laugh. If someone has a chip on there shoulder about private plates and drives around getting stressed about it its not my problem. :001_smile:

It always makes me laugh when i see a utility arb company here in Devon that put private plates on as many of their vehicles that they can, lots of plates with 'ARB' on them, yet their employees struggle to get decent replacement kit in a timely fashion.

I do some work sometimes for a company who originally called themselves what the utility company call themselves now. His truck with 'P80 ARB' looks awesome though especially when dragging the tracked chipper! much better than the copycats :001_tongue: haha
