I'm guessing a DSLR of some kind, with Tone mapping and HDR editing?

Yes you are right. I have an old and bashed about Canon 400d and HDR software + Photoshop. These were all taken some time ago.

Why do dogs do that??? I've one that does the exact same, usually at the end of a walk right before I take her inside!! Nice forest.
