Man...I almost forgot, but Jeremiah Johnson with Robert Redford would most definitely be my #2 pic. Great flic, and the vengeance montage is fantastic!

One of my favourites aswell, I went to see that pic at the flicks at about eleven or twelve years old. It's stuck in my head ever since to the point of watching at least once every other year. So much going on in it and so realistic.

I just got the new true grit and loved it!!! Jeff Bridges made Rooster Cogburn the mean barsteward that he was ment to be!! Fav line from the film "THERE AINT NO CLOCK ON MY BUSINESS" hahaha I love most of Clints films as already said Jossie Wales is classic. Fist full of daollars a few dollars more and the good the bad and the ugly!! The unforgiven All class films. But what about the modern ones Apaloosa, 3.10 to yuma??

One film i also love that flopped when released was the missoury breaks with Jack Nickolas and Marlon Brando. But yeah i like westerns!!

Hadn't thought of Blazing Saddles - good one.

I've always liked the really heavily stylised ones - the original spaghetti westerns with Clint etc, of which for me it's a toss up between Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and High Plains Drifter. I also quite liked The Quick and the Dead, and whilst not quite a western, Desperado has some very 'Clint' styling.

what about Paint your wagon, Clint was great in that he even sang in it and as for Lee Marvin well he plays the best drunk ever, and how great was Clint as his mate sharing the wife like that, great film and great to sing along with, best to see it on the big screen:thumbup: if you get the chance.
