So far I have had 1 bottle of champagne of one of the customers a 40 quid tip off another and a musto coat off the company I am subbing to .

So am delighted .

on monday we got told there was a bit of good news and a bit of even better news, the good news was at tuesday lunchtime we will go for a big fry up, and the better news was that after lunch we have finished for christmas!

Couldn't have suited me better! I was in the car heading up North by 3.15 and pint in hand with my brother by 9. Was good to meet you Ciaran even if it was just for the couple of days!

My guys get paid holidays, so at christmas they get a few quid and a card and a bottle of something. They get proper bonuses when I have made good money, if the current council contract goes well they will I hope get 4 figures.

Never had a xmas bonus off where i work, and this year they didnt hold the xmas party ( food and a glass of wine).

As an employee I'll vouch for that. Its a two way street and for both employers and employees you get out what you put in. This was the first time I've ever had a Christmas bonus, they were a mythical entity to me until now so this year I was chuffed to nuts to get it and I'll be working just as hard in the New Year knowing that it doesn't go un-noticed.
