Hakki pilke 1x37 chainsaw gets stuck

I'd agree with what's been said already - either burr on bar or possibly uneven bar rails. I used to find on my hawk that one side of the bar would wear more so the chain would sit off to one side. If you're careful you can level them back up with a flap disc on a grinder.

Generally speaking, if anything on the processor needs forcing then something is wrong somewhere and forcing will just bust something else.

I had this problem. Check the bar is vertical to the bed if not you should be able to adjust by undoing bolts around the back. If its not perfectly level it will wear one side of the bar first. But The most likely cause is uneven teeth on chain as been said by graham. If I have your problem 9 times out of ten its cured by using an electric bench grinder sharpener. If I hand sharpen a few times I can feel the problem creeping up on me.

From my experiance with my 1x37, it will almost definately be that the teeth on the chain have been filed more on one side than the other. If they are NOT equal in size/length, the bar will not go through the wood, however sharp the chain is. I finally worked this out after snapping the handle in a moment of tourettes:cursing: coz the damn thing wouldn,t go through. I ended up buying a new chain and starting again and have never had a problem since.

Chain sharpness / filing issues are most likely cause.

However if you have a new chain on and it still will not cut check one third of the way up the bar and feel (with chain off) for burring out of the rails on the cutting side of the bar.

If burred carefully clean up with a grinder or hand file.

If still not right replace both bar and chain and practice your filing on the old set:)
