Hi hb i did indeed buy the parts from you and the sj a year ago. Yea hopefully re tapping it will do the trick, if not does it have a warranty?

 

If re-tapping the thread will solve your problem we will cover the charge, but I am sure you will appreciate no warranty will cover cross-threading when re-inserting screws when the correct pitch and diameter screws are supplied.

looking good, both were pretty easy to attach, but i WD40'd everything first because i have had previous issues with stripping allen key heads on spiderjacks like previously been mentioned

 

I didn't bother with the rubber cap for the end of the cut away, as I tend to leave the krab on the end of the rope for slinging over branches - little rubber cap would have got lost in seconds!

 

I was also expecting the the new lever to have a roller that rolled, not fixed. Can't really see much difference between using the new lever and the old one yet. Anyone else think this?

What was the purpose of making the lever longer, now it just seems you could catch it easier resulting in skid mark moment.

What do I know about a spider jack I,m still stuck in my ways on a hitch, but I hear the longer lever makes fine control better and the half pulley (more like bump) really helps with fair leading into the jack.

It's almost as a good as a hitch now

I'm slowly converting colleagues onto the spiderjack, always great fun watching some one for the first time descend on it, i think the problem is everyone always body thrusts with it the first few times, and then say its crap, need to learn to thread it into the jack

I have one ordered, ive done me research and I reckon I will fly through the canopy after a bit of practice, when Im up to speed I will get tome up with me to video!

 

this is going to be cool, never ever thought I would do it, but after the HC VT combo upgrade i am very very curious as to how much gain we can make!

 

got the work positioner on order too after using a mates, ART is epic

All the ART gear is ace. Positioner is one thing you will love straight away.

 

I'm tempted for an SJ now! Seem better in different ways compared to a LJ!
