Nothing on my burner tonight as we are out for a meal, so tomorrow might its gomma be elm and larch that's been dry stored for a couple of years.:)

No, just a cold stone northumbrian farm house! takes masses of logs to keep warm, barrow full a day on the Arrow, large basket for cooker and sometimes we have a 3rd stove alight.

burning yew, leylandii and maccrocarpa and about to faint from the heat, even with the fire on low. its been lit since 4.30 and still on its second load of 3 logs at a time:thumbup1:

 

not burnt a hardwood species in nearly 2 years now:thumbup:

No smell, no mess and instant heat, I tell you its the future, i've felt it.

Very true!!!

 

A mate of mine who buys timber off me by the arctic load and cuts and sells logs, has stopped burning his own logs and buys in coal, it works out more cost effective.
