That fits in with mine..I was 2200 kg odd tare normally, and I'm sure I used to get out for the weigh... and no tools, either..so that left 1.3 tons for me and everything else, assuming it could be loaded without going overweight on an axle. It was a tipper, and it had a twin rear axle.

Yes tipper with steel body and twin rear axle.

We went over the weight bridge full of chip as well, only have a standard steel body with 15-inch deep sides. Filled it 3 inches from the top and with all are kit we were 3400kg.

Stupidly didn’t check the axles on there own, but it was worth the £10 to know what we can carry.

no ones picking at all mate, you're taking it the wrong way.....the idea of this site is to present accurate information for everyone to benefit from......we are merely pointing out that your load of wood isnt 6m3, which has led on to other issues such as your misunderstanding of what your transit can actually carry.......what you choose to put on it is entirely up to you, but benefit from my experience and save yourself a hefty fine...vosa wont accept ignorance as an excuse for being overweight, trust me:001_smile:

Well we have measured our Transit and know that 2m3 is when the load is level with the sides. We call that a 2m3 load (clever - eh?)

We also sell full 1m3 bags NOT DUMPY BAGS, but full cubic meter bags.

I don't really agree with misleading the public, I wouldn't sell a dozen eggs and only put 10 in the box

But if you sell logs in Dumpy bags, then say that, no need to kid on that they are cubic meter bags.

You could always measure the bags you use and work out the volume
