Caring nurse...not!

Had a phone call today from my son to say someone's knocked him off his motorbike. I race to the scene to find him sitting on the side of the road along with his bent up bike.

A woman who happened to be a nurse pulled straight out in front of him and he's gone into the drivers' door. Hurt his leg and his head hit the door pillar. Luckily the helmet broke and his head didn't.

After the 'are you ok? etc she proceeds to tell him he shouldn't claim as it was his fault and his insurance premium will go up and he may have difficulty finding someone to insure him! He's a quiet sort and was dazed so he just took it in. But the thing that really annoys me js the fact that a member of the nursing profession should then just drive off and leave him sitting on the side of the road:confused1:

Anyway just wanted to rant about it. Passed all details to police and insurance and hopefully they'll deal with it.

its an offence to leave scene of an accident if some1 injury?????? or not?

more than that as a registered nurse she should help out at an accident or risk getting struck off the UKCC register - no register = no work.

That's the real reason she wanted to opt out - do her mate.:thumbup1:
