Anything over 25% isn't really seasoned firewood and needs to be left longer. It should ideally be under 20% when delivered. The client should bring a basket of wood into the house about a week before they use it.

 

Obviously, if the client leaves it out in a puddle then it won't stay like that for long!

I recommend the customer brings their wood inside 24 hours before use, a week seems excessive and not very practical.
