Fair point about the ppe and lack of chain brake saw and stuff, but good on him for being able to wield a saw like that at what ever age he maybe. He has probably forgotton more than most know about handling properly large timber, and knows a usefull trick or 2 also. If I can get about like that when I'm his age, I'll be well happy with that. Fair play. Imagine how good he was 30 odd (or more) years ago?!

Just to confirm- that was a modern video. The guy who shot it was the chaps’ grandson who said on you-tube that he had been in the trade for 50 years or more !

No.Some 090's have a gear drive and kick back like you wouldn't beleive.

 

Don't stall it in a cut either.

I saw an advert in the Agrimart for a guy with an old 6x6 winch truck like that, he was using it to winch out bogged combines, probably did a roaring trade this harvest.
