Staying positive and being able to motivate your team when both you and them know that the job that your boss has sent you on is clearly undermanned and the final touches needed to finish the job and achieve the customers expectation is that part of the day where you are grafting past home time knowing that you wont have any extra in your wage packet because "we dont pay overtime!"

 

you on about a exeter company weve both worked for grant??

Shortwooding at £13/tonne was hard, pruning Xmas trees pretty horrible, managing Sitka plantations to help the rich limit their taxable liabilities very grim, Variations on Utility contract across England & Wales just hideous, but the toughest by far is Council Arb Officer: several reminders every day of just how ignorant of trees the general public truly are...
