On the subject of Fry, my mate and I reckoned there wasnt any other 'celeb' who could be described by the moniker fat arrogant theiving puff

 

I understand he has thinned down a bit now:hmpf:

 

 

BTW I have nowt against puffs. Arrogant theiving porkers not my cup of tea though:biggrin:

He's 54 and he did something silly when he was 17. Not really anything to hold against any man. He's gay..... so what!

 

He's a funny, witty and articulate writer and presenter amongst his other attributes. Heralded as a modern day Oscar Wilde and, if nothing else in common, they both spent time in gaol:001_smile:

Fry and Laurie was some of the funniest tv of it time.

 

I think Stephen fry is brilliant at what he does, the fact that he is gay and was overweight shouldn't really come into it.

Yep by other 'luvvies'.

 

As Melchett (if thats how you spell it?) he was wonderful. Can't argue. But he has just turned into a default presenter. Now a national treasure, like Judi Dench, Alan Titchmarsh and Julie Walters to name but a few. Think its time we burried some treasure personally.

 

 

 

You wait, with the growth of digital channels it'll be BBC Fry next.
