Lanyard round the back, over opposite shoulder then onto wrench thimble.

Of course! D'oh! I didn't like that set up, tried that initially. Currently using fig 8 sling as a chest harness, but I'm going to improve on that as well. I don't like a neck elastic either....

I use the neck elastic,Ewan showed me his and liked the look of it,went home and tried it and it's freakin awsome.so easy too clip and un clip, don't know it's on most of the time.best is when coming in from a limb walk with it clipped in,if you hold the rope under the hitch it will advance as you walk in,no tend the slack every couple of feet just reposition your hand higher as rope moves through the hitch.

Thanks for the response Ewan. Do you prefer RW to bungee to hand ascender over neck elastic? Is the neck elastic stretch some?

I dont actually use this set up i just know you can, i like the neck elastic and tend to just use a pantin for most ascents, the neck elastic does stretch thats what makes it work so well. :thumbup1:

Exactly what i do  Nice and smooth that way

I am gonna try that Ian. thanks for the responses! I have the Zk-1. I recently put some heat shrink over my Petzl tether. Haven't tried yet but played with it in the garage seems to work quite well. When I get the funds Zk-2 will be mine :)
