I am gonna try that Ian. thanks for the responses! I have the Zk-1. I recently put some heat shrink over my Petzl tether. Haven't tried yet but played with it in the garage seems to work quite well. When I get the funds Zk-2 will be mine

 

A number of pages back Joe Loggs off here posted one with a petzl tether, seen him use it and it look pretty much perfect for the zk1. I prefer Adam Bournes 10" tether (NO ADAM NOT PINKIE ) for the zk2.

all hail srt for nasty wet planes this week, it has been the first time to use it and in a working enviorment only used for gaining acces into tree then switched to drt helped with the real spready crowns as the bigshot got us to the top in one.

 

note to self this week dont stand or let you trowline get caught up when firing the big shot as the weight has a great idea of hitting you in the face

Yeah its spot on adam, Works well with the Rock Exotica O-ring krabs ive been giving a good test to.

Rock exotica crabs are awesome love the gate action. Have you tried the Orca locks that lock open?

I have a couple of rock o's and a couple of pirates, really nice crabs and like you say, their auto lock feels really nice, I much prefer it to all the welsh ones which unlock toward the opening...

No, but hopefully the stuff thats in the pipeline might see me only using rock exotica stuff Orca lock is very clever,
