The snake anchor is an awesome tool i use it all the time, can even be used as redirects etc in tree, or handy for cabiling when you have alot of tools hanging around and need somewhere for them

cheers old mill. will check out the vid on the vid you posted for more info.

Jo's vid on this forum is very informative & has sold me the idea of getting a snake anchor.

I like the idea of re enforced/backed up anchor point installments on a 4kn (if needed) shock load system when climbing on less than desirable anchor points. Sort of a fisherman's rod effect if I have the right thought in my head..Along with the multiple other uses for it.

Nice one adam, had mine out again on a large lime and my xmas present to myself is a new cam in the sj but got to wait for either dry reccie climb or working day in the new year. i dont really notice the small diameter when climbing though as mostly just quickly clip an ascender on

Brilliant rope, first outing today 30ft ish quad stemmed lawson cypress takedown, tied the variation of the single prohaska with ocean poly, so responsive on loading and no binding or slipping, a 26ft ish anchor in the top hardly any stretch from the ground if any! First impression really like although I will say its the thinnest rope I've used tree climbing and gloves are a must as its hard to grip the smooth sheave ImageUploadedByTapatalk1356648348.413861.jpg.34a0369312833d734df920107ffd1fa1.jpg

Yes jake I'm using spikes with my pantin over the top, don't know it's on there really and doesn't get in the way, not a great picture but you can just see on my foot.
