I'm curious this LOTS malarky, to people use it. I've been on the rw for a good while and have never found a use for it. just sounds a bit crude

 

I tried it with my Lanyard but it was very painful. I've since used a short Lyon sling figure 8 over my shoulders to form a chest harness and held together with a small tool karab.

It's cheap and works well although I only use it for long ascents when I use my hand ascender and foot loop.

found the lanyard thing to be a pain, i just have a piece of bungee tied on the back of the harness with a small crab on end, use it for frog walking up and when climbing up the branches it tends the wrench for ya, and also spiking it does the same.
