Has any1 used Morris lubricants bar oil?

i have been looking around at some bio oils and fount that Morris Lubricants do Terralus CBO, i was wondering if any of you guys have used it and if you think its any good or not.

 

i would like to know your finding wether bad or good.

i am using morris mineral chain oil that seems fine.

I would give it a try but is there a standard they have to comply to?

I'm pretty sure mine is engine oil with glue in it.

Have just started using using morris mineral oil (chroma I think) and so far am happy with it.

Don't think so mate.Dip your finger into Bar Oil,press your Thumb against it and slowly remove your Thumb.There will be some "tack" like snot from your Thumb to your finger.

 

Gear Oil won't do that.

I have never used it but the oregon stuff is ok. Why is there always so much black crud at the bottom of the stihl stuff.

Chain oil is simlar spec to some machine oils but not gear oil. Completely different tolerances to heat and pressure,and environmental implications if your really fussy. At the end of the day though,better to use any oil than none at all.
