I have two pair of boots that I take to work, miendl airstream, and either scarpa pro accent-for summer or la sportiva tango s gtx all year round.

 

Good topic this, in my opinion! you shouldn't be in a work position in a tree where you'd be cutting next to you feet.

 

For felling work and ground work I think it's a must.

Agreed.

 

I'd always wear my miendls on the ground. But love my approach boots in the tree.

 

Are you guys employed or freelancers? Freelancers get any grief from companies?

Employed are your bosses cool with it or don't they know?:001_tongue:

Totally agree about the ground work aspect.

 

It is a good thread, and I would love input from people who have cut their feet whilst climbing. If they can use a computer....:sneaky2:

The only times I have heard of people cutting their foot wear it when they are wearing chainsaw boots :sneaky2:

 

I havent worn chainsaw boots for more years than I care to remember, Hitec Magnums all the way :thumbup1:
