Hi Dan! That chair looks damn good! Was that a week long course? Bet that was a laugh

 

Any one else got any Pics?

 

Yes a six day course, starting by selecting a small ash tree to fell. then sixty hours of cutting shaping and whittling. hey presto, chair.

 

Had a great time sleeping in the woods and getting back to nature.

My first hurdle, self taught from book and videos so Im very happy as a first step, am very much looking forward to gaining tuition and building a 6'x6'.

Was crooked as hell and only 2' but I of course learnt. (need alot of rods!)

 

Am in south Wales and constantly after HAZEL RODS 1/4" - 2" (6-8 foot long)

please make me aware if you're local and can talk more.
