A bloody good bloke gone before his time

Just heard today that a fellow colleague has died of a heart attack. David Bolstad was probably better known for his exploits in the Stihl Timber Sports series along with fellow kiwi Jason Wynyard, who between them won the last several championships. We worked together on several jobs and his strength and fitness were something to behold. a good kiwi bloke and well known and loved throughout the King Country and NZ he will be sorely missed. Rest in peace big fella.

Correct Tommer. David was the big fella on the right. Doesn't look so big in the picture but when you stood next to him you stood in his shadow. Top bloke that dominated the world of wood chopping etc. Would give you the shirt of his back if you needed it and I'm stunned to say the least that a heart attack could take someone so fit and healthy.
