I have an efco tophandle and a 136 with a 15" bar and a 162 with a 18" bar. my dad has the 46xx??? Newer model and he loves it. We have had stihl husqy makita all sort of saws. the efco saws are pro quality and dealer service is excellent. Grunt by the bag loads!!! I'm not gonna say their stihl or husqvarna but for the price their 100%.

Mine s very good.

Need a new chain. Bit confused, mine has an 18 inch bar. The book says it should have a 72 link chain!! Mine has a 68!!!

The standard set up for that is prob .325 pitch chain.

What you are running is 3/8 chain and due to the slightly larger pitch there are less drive links.

I have it all here with comparisons if you're unclear Chain | bar | sprocket identification

Yeah can't remember which it is exactly might be 325 hobby and 325 piko are near identical but one has a lot more cutting links in it. And the one with less teath usually has them silly pre set bumper links in it too. I've got a husqvarna pullout with the different chain pitches at home ill update tonight unless one of our resident chainsaw jedi's can clear it up lol
