I was always told between £25 - £30 per man per hour which works out for 2 men for 6 hours work.

Between £300 - £360 this would include removal of waste. This would be for a job in local area. Travelling would need to be taken in to consideration if further away.

John, what Nick is getting at is that you're better off quoting the job. The £350/hour is to discourage idiots demanding an hourly rate.

And doing time and motion studies on you :001_tt2:

Hi could anyone please tell me what hourly rate a customer should be expected to pay for a self employed tree surgeon?

Thanks

Hi there it's very unlightly you would get any tree surgeon to work for an hourley rate no one would do a job for a a couple hours doing it by the hour unless it was a couple of hundred pound an hour . . It's either quoted by the job or some may do it on a day rate depending if the job is very large and ongoing .
