i have 150xp bandit awasome chipper bit of a lump to tow around but cuts chipping time to a fraction just stack it all up and smash it through, no need to run the chipper for hours just a few mins with the bigger machine , wouldn't go back to any euro machine

Talking of Bandits...Anyone remeber a chap called Nick Rivett..He rang me back in the 80's.. said he would do me a demo next time he was close by to york.He was in Melbourne. funny thats a village 10 miles from york. Feck I thinks if he can't come 10 miles. He meant Melbourne in Aussy land. Sure enough 3 mths later the phone rings and he came and did me a demo...possibly the best chipper I ever bought.

Nick Rivett eh? there's a blast from the past...

He convinced Bandit to send over 50 or so chippers on a sale or return basis.

He sold the lot and never paid Bandit. I met him out in Australia where he was building an identical chipper to the bandit. I believe A Lopa had one...

Nick Rivett?

Did he get involved with Chipstar in Australia. I seem to remember the couple that ended up in the UK (one with Midland Forestry) were identical to Bandit in many respects.

I'd go Schliessing every time if your budget enables you to do so. They are better built and will outlast a TW. TW are still good value for money and their after sales service is very good.
