quite right,sales of woodstoves up 40% the terrace I live on is like a timberyard at weekends,with all sorts of wood inc pallets being converted by different folk along my street once it was just me "the poor relation" that burnt logs,all mine is in backyard undercover,barb wire and lock on gate.

I thought the same till this aft.

 

About a cubic metre gone over the weekend. Going to put the wildlife camera on the cherrypicker 30ft up, I think the batteries last a month on motion detect.

If your wood yard is surrounded by a private woodland, you could always arrange a 'night shoot' the poor guys trespassing to steal logs would just be in the way!!!

 

I'd love to paintball them straight between the eyes at point blank, but it's catching them at it without spending hours and days hidden somewhere and you can bet your bottom dollar, for every one you catch there'll be another scumbag waiting in the wings to nick some more
